Substitute Yogurt for Mayo
“When making tuna salad, use 2 percent Greek yogurt, about 75 calories for half a cup, instead of mayonnaise, about 450 calories for half a cup. Greek yogurt has the same texture and creaminess as mayonnaise but far less fat and calories. I use the tangy Greek yogurt as a lower-cal replacement anywhere I’d regularly use sour cream or mayo.”

I add flax to everything.  I even put flax in brownies so they are delicious and high fiber!   Golden roasted flax does not need to be ground and tastes nutty and delicious. http://theflaxdiet.com

I just simply whip up the cauliflower in the food processor and add fat free mayo and coarse kosher salt and it tastes great.  I usually serve that to my family with grilled salmon and sprinkle roasted flax on all!

Really lowering your portion sizes in itself could be a huge help for weightloss. That and eating healthier food is great for you.  I've actually been getting a bunch of free samples from www.TheGuiltFreeShop.com.  Which has helped me save and lose weight.  I recommend this to all my friends

The best thing available (IMHO) on the market that realistically deal with issues of over consumption and weight loss is a recently released book (not expensive) called "The Cosmic Diet." Its a must read for any of us battling with these issues. Get it on Amazon, B&N, etc.

About a year and a half ago I ballooned up to 235 pounds. I became embarrassed and increased my walking to a mile or two a day. Changed from eating high calorie snacks to eating apples and other fruit. I also watch how much food was on my plate and lowered the amount of starches. Now my wieght is 185.
