How It All Began: Planning for Your Baby
Here are a few questions to think about. Was your baby planned or a surprise? If planned, how long did it take for you to conceive? How did you feel when you found out you were pregnant and during the pregnancy? Did you experience any complications during your pregnancy? Did you find out the sex of the baby ahead of time or was it a surprise? What birth plan or method did you plan on using?

Labor and Delivery: Time to Meet Your Baby
Here are a few questions to think about. How did you know you were in or going into labor? How were your contractions? How long was your labor? What helped you cope during the stages of labor? What pain management methods did you use? Where did you deliver? (hospital, home, birthing center, water, etc.) What childbirth method did you wind up using? How did your birth partner react? Who was with you during the delivery? If this wasn't your first delivery, how did this birth experience differ?

After the Delivery: Getting to Know Your Baby
Here are a few questions to think about. How did you and your birth partner feel just after delivery? How did you feel the first time you saw your baby or babies? Did you decide to breastfeed, use formula or a combo of both? How were the first couple weeks at home with your new baby? (sleep, feeding, bonding, etc.)

Advice to Others
