Depression is a common disorder that can severely impact an individual's mood, and there are various forms of depression such as: unipolar, bipolar, major, dysthymia and seasonal affective disorder. The primary causes of depression are environmental stress and genetics. Substance abuse, physical and psychological abuse are just a few examples of environmental stress.
