I have been diagnosed with arthritis of the right hip.  MRI says I am bone on bone and also have narrowing of the spine in the lower back which causes leg pain and back pain.  I went to a specialist who said I am to young to have a hip replacement done and would like to wait at least 3 years.  I am 60 years old.  My therapist said the back pain will continue to be a problem until I get the hip fixed.  I am on pain meds and anti-inflammatory meds.  I can hardly work 4 hours on my feet before I am nearly in tears from the pain.  Why can I not get the hip replaced and get it over with?
